Philanthropist Susie Lee is keeping her fundraising lead in a crowded Democratic primary for Nevada's 4th Congressional District seat.
Federal contribution reports due Friday show Lee raised almost $230,000 in the first three months of 2016. She had about $642,000 on hand when March ended.
State Sen. Ruben Kihuen's campaign said he raised $191,000 in the first quarter of the year and reported about $424,000 cash on hand.
Former Assemblywoman Lucy Flores' campaign reported $143,000 in contributions last quarter and $159,000 cash on hand.
Five other Democrats in the race aren't expected to raise significant funds before the June 14 election.
Democrats are competing for a chance to face off with incumbent Republican Rep. Cresent Hardy. The Democratic-leaning district includes North Las Vegas and large swaths of rural central Nevada.
