LAS VEGAS (AP) — A former Boulder City animal control supervisor accused of illegally killing dogs at the shelter she ran has posted bond and is free from jail pending trial on felony animal cruelty charges.
Court records show that Mary Jo Frazier was released last week after a judge set bond at $50,000 and said she could live at home in Grants Pass, Oregon, pending trial Sept. 12 in Las Vegas.
Frazier pleaded not guilty March 8 in Clark County District Court to two felony charges that could get her up to eight years in prison.

Officials say Frazier retired from the city and moved to Oregon shortly after police concluded that more than 90 animals had been euthanized in one year without a required five-day waiting period and veterinary exam.
