School Board Extends CCSD Leader's Contract

Pat Skorkowsky is staying on as the head of Clark County Schools for at least another two years.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Clark County School Board vote was unanimous to extend Skorkowsky's contract as superintendent of the nation's fifth-largest school district.

The board faced a Monday deadline to give Skorkowsky written notice if it decided not to extend his contract beyond June 30th.
