Sandoval Says He Doesn't Want To Be Considered For Supreme Court

Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval said today that he does not wish to be considered for the nomination to the United States Supreme Court seat vacated by Antonin Scalia.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports that Sandoval contacted the White House and said that he did not wish to be considered at this time, and he also notified Senators Harry Reid, Dean Heller and Mitch McConnell.

He added that the notion of being considered for a seat on the highest court was beyond humbling, but provided no further details on the matter.
