Among the changes coming to Nevada today is a jump in the service charge NV Energy's net metering customers pay.
That charge rises from $12.75 a month to $17.90, and it’s set to rise to $38.51 monthly by the start of 2020.
The separate tariff for rooftop solar energy customers was established by the state Public Utilities Commission at the direction of the state legislature.
