Workers At Trump's Las Vegas Hotel Vote To Unionize

A majority of workers at the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas have voted to join a union.

The Culinary Union Local 226 and the Bartenders Union Local 165 announced Monday the votes, which were cast on Friday and Saturday, had a majority of more than 500 voting employees deciding they want to join the union.

The union went on to urge the hotel to undergo contract negotiations immediately.

Meanwhile, candidate Donald Trump is holding a rally in Las Vegas the day before participating in the Republican debate at The Venetian casino.

The event is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino. Doors open at 5 p.m.
