At LV Event, Ted Cruz Outlines Plans For First Day As President -- If Elected

Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is leaving Las Vegas for Minnesota as he launches a seven-day campaign tour through several states holding primary elections on March 1.

The Texas senator spoke to a crowd of about 250 people at a suburban Las Vegas retirement community Thursday morning laying out his plan for what he would do on his first day in office if elected president including opening an investigation into Planned Parenthood, dissolving the Iran nuclear agreement and moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.

His appearance in Las Vegas comes two days after the Republican presidential debate held at The Venetian casino-resort on the Las Vegas Strip.
