Dixie State University in St. George has announced finalists in its efforts to rebrand the school's mascot and nickname for its athletics teams.
The finalists are the Trailblazers, with a bison mascot; the Sun Warriors, with the god Apollo as mascot; and the Raptors, with the mascot being the Utahraptor.
The university had those choices as part of six available on a survey regarding what the rebranding should look like.
