Nye County has given approval for a facility housing tigers to operate.
County commissioners voted 4 to 3 to permit Ray Mielzynski to house 10 tigers on his property, according to the Pahrump Valley Times.
Under the terms of the permit, the tigers are not allowed to be exhibited in public, and Nye County animal control inspectors must be able to visit the property on a regular basis to make sure the tigers are being treated properly.
