Lyft Starts Operations At McCarran International Airport

Ride-sharing company Lyft has started to operate at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

The company told KNPR that its drivers were accepting rides to and from the airport as of 11:00 a.m. Monday.

KNPR reached out to fellow ride-sharing company Uber to see if it had started operations at the airport today as well, but did not receive any comment.

Update (2:49 p.m.): Jason Radisson, general manager of Uber Nevada, sent KNPR a statement, saying "Uber is dedicated to serving riders and drivers at McCarran, and to continuing a thorough process with Airport Officials. Our priority is to reach a resolution that ensures rider and driver safety along with the best user experience, as quickly as possible."
