A former administrator who pleaded guilty to embezzling large sums of money from the Clark County School District no longer has a teacher's license.
The Nevada Board of Education voted Thursday to revoke the license of 68-year-old Priscilla Rocha, who directed the district's adult English language learner program until spring 2014 and previously served on the state board.
She was convicted in March of theft and unlawful use of public money and is serving 4-10 years in prison. She also must pay more than $280,000 in restitution.
The board also revoked the licenses of Douglas Young, who was convicted of child abuse, and Terrie Sena, who was accused in an alleged child sex ring and was sentenced to 10 years to life in prison on a sexual assault conviction.
