Republican Presidential Candidate Rand Paul Coming To Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — Republican presidential candidate Rand Paul is scheduled to visit Las Vegas later this month for a forum at the College of Southern Nevada.

The Kentucky senator is scheduled to visit the college's Charleston Boulevard campus on Sept. 17 for a 6 p.m. event organized by the LIBRE Initiative.

The organization focuses on advancing libertarian principles among Hispanic voters, and is funded by the Koch brothers.

Organizers from the group say the forum is not a campaign stop.

Paul's most recent public visit to Nevada was in late June, when he embarked on a statewide campaign tour.
