A hiker was seriously injured Sunday on a trail near Hoover Dam.
The Las Vegas police search and rescue team responded to the Sunday afternoon call and found the man about 4 miles inside the Gold Strike Trail entrance near Hoover Dam. Ground crews could not reach him and a helicopter was sent in to bring him to safety.
It's unclear what injuries he sustained.
