FIFA Scandal Becomes A Mob Museum Exhibit In Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) — The same museum that chronicles Sin City's mob beginnings led by underworld criminals like Bugsy Siegel is hoping to score with an exhibit looking at FIFA's ongoing corruption investigation.

The Mob Museum in downtown Las Vegas said its newest permanent exhibit about the scrutinized soccer organization debuts Tuesday at 10 a.m.

The U.S. Attorney General indicted top-ranking FIFA officials in May and sought their extradition to the United States on charges of bribery, fraud and racketeering.

The exhibit is being called "The 'Beautiful Game' Turns Ugly" and the museum says it delves into the "kickbacks, secrecy and match-fixing" surrounding the international soccer organization through photos and news reports.

The museum's executive director says in a statement that the exhibit will resonate particularly with international visitors.
