Nevada Leaders To Get Preview Of Faraday Future Car

LAS VEGAS (AP) — North Las Vegas is courting electric car maker Faraday Future to fill an abandoned factory site, but little is known about the company.

The Las Vegas Sun reports that some answers may come soon.

Nevada politicians and members of the business community will visit Faraday's southern California research facility for a preview of the company's first electric car.

That vehicle is expected to hit the market in 2017.

Faraday has not publically announced its CEO but has hired several former Tesla and BMW engineers and designers. The start-up left stealth mode this month.

North Las Vegas hopes to boost its economy by turning the abandoned factory into an electric car production facility.
