Lack Of Lifeguards Cited In Cowabunga Bay Lawsuit Over Near Drowning

Parents of a 6-year-old boy who almost drowned in a wave pool have sued Cowabunga Bay.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the Henderson water park did not have enough lifeguards on staff on May 27th, when the boy was under water "for a lengthy period of time."

Peter and Christian Gardner say their son, Leland, spent weeks in the hospital for neurological damage and now requires 24-hour care.
