LAS VEGAS (AP) — Three new directors have been sworn in to the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority board.

An authority spokeswoman said Tuesday that Las Vegas City Councilman Ricki Barlow and Henderson City Councilman John Marz will represent their cities, and Maurice Wooden, president of Wynn Las Vegas and Encore is a new resorts representative.

Barlow takes a position previously held by Mayor Carolyn Goodman. His term runs through June 2019.

Marz replaces Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen in a term through June 2017.

Wooden was picked to a two-year term by the Nevada Resort Association. He succeeds Venetian-Palazzo chief George Markantonis.

Mesquite City Councilman George Rapson, Mandalay Bay resort chief Chuck Bowling, Caesars Entertainment executive Tom Jenkin and Kristin McMillan of the Las Vegas Metro Chamber of Commerce were also reappointed.
