LAS VEGAS (AP) The Historic Railroad Trail between Lake Mead and Hoover Dam is being marked nationally.
The Interior Department is designating the 3.5-mile path a national recreation trail ahead of National Trails Day on Saturday.
The trail connecting the Alan Bible Visitor Center in the Lake Mead National Recreation area to Hoover Dam is built on the railroad grade running through five tunnels that was used during the dam's construction.
