Early Voting Starts Tomorrow For LV, NLV, Henderson Races

Early voting begins tomorrow in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson for the April 7 primary. It runs through April 3.

There are only 10 contested races, for city council and municipal judge seats, in the three cities. Many of those races will be decided by the primary, because they have only two candidates running.

A candidate receiving more than 50 percent of the vote in the primary will win their race outright and won’t have to compete in the June 2 general election. If no candidate in a race gets over 50 percent, the top two vote getters will square off in June.

After the reading service was discontinued in 2011, he became the afternoon host on KNPR for ten years. Jay can now be heard on air on News 88.9 KNPR and Classical 89.7 KCNV throughout the week.
