Foster care information sessions

It’s amazing what a life-changing moment it can be when you choose to open your heart to a child in need of a temporary home!  There are approximately 3,000 children in the care of the Clark County Department of Family Services, ranging from toddlers to teenagers. Some are in foster homes and others need foster homes. Find out how you can help at a foster care info session.

Adoptable pets available without fees across Nevada

Looking for the love of your life? Hundreds of dogs and cats across Nevada are waiting for you during Maddie's Pet Adoption Days April 27 and 28.  Adoption fees will be waived thanks to Maddies Pet Project..

There are participating shelters  and reecue groups in Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, Fallon, Elko, Ely, Yerington, Pahrump, among other places.

Lots of free classical music recitals at UNLV

The UNLV School of Music presents dozens of free classical music recitals and concerts every term. Most are by students, performing solo or in small groups. There are also performances by music faculty, guest artists, and visiting ensembles. Some things, such as their symphony orchestra and wind band concerts, have a small charge.
