The Animal Foundation urgently needs people to foster adoptable dogs for one to six weeks. Summer is usually the busiest time of year, and their kennels are already almost full. Bringing a dog home frees up space, and it also helps dogs who have been at the shelter get rid of some of their stress, making them more adoptable when they return.

The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas is in desperate need of sheets, blankets, towels and such to use for bedding for their cats and dogs. Gently used or new items can be dropped at the shelter every day between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. They would also like to connect with housekeeping departments for regular pickups of donated items.
The Wetlands Park in Las Vegas has guided walks, talks, and programs every month. Some require advance registration. April 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.: BioBlitz, a fun day of science in the park! Identify plants and animals with the help of expert scientists and naturalists. All observations are entered into a global database, iNaturalist.
