The family of retired Clark County Fire Department Captain Dennis Snider will hold a fundraiser on September 27, from 5 to 10 p.m., at Rhythm Kitchen in the southwest valley. The Las Vegas Rescue Mission will hold their annual “Walk A Mile In My Shoes” fundraiser September 29, starting at 9 a.m. Led by clients from LVRM’s recovery program, the one-mile walk will take participants from the Las Vegas Review-Journal to the nonprofit’s campus then back to the R-J.
