The Nevada State Museum in Las Vegas presenta a new exhibition celebrating the extraordinary artistry of costume designer Pete Menefee through December 31. A multiple Emmy-Award-winning costume designer, he is famous for his work with musical superstars, variety productions, and Nevada’s costume-spectacular stage shows. There are photographs, stage costumes, and original costume design renderings.
This exhibit shares the extraordinary stories of Anne Frank, Ruby Bridges and Ryan White - three children whose lives teach us about overcoming obstacles to make positive differences in the world. It encourages children and families to explore issues of isolation, fear and prejudice. Through January 7.
