Leisure Connection (for adults 22+) is a social group for high-functioning adults with developmental disabilities. It provides recreational activities that promote socialization and independence in the community. The family of retired Clark County Fire Department Captain Dennis Snider will hold a fundraiser on September 27, from 5 to 10 p.m., at Rhythm Kitchen in the southwest valley. A donation of $10 will include admission, a drink and a raffle ticket. Donations will support Captain Snider in his fight with a neuromuscular disease.
