The Rape Crisis Center in Las Vegas uses male and female volunteers, ages 21 and over, to assist sexual assault victims. Volunteers assist the staff of the center by answering crisis calls around the clock, making referrals for victims and others who are seeking assistance, and more.
The Community Cat Coalition of Clark County 1s an all-volunteer organization working to save feral and free-roaming cats through a trap, neuter and return program. C5 can use folks to help with the trapping and returning; caring for cats pre and post op, and co-ordinating with members of the community.
Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a Las Vegas based non-profit devoted to finding homes for cats. They have cats to adopt on some weekends at area Petcos and PetSmarts and a cage-free adoption facility. They can always use volunteers, especially folks to be foster parents for kittens and cats.

ICES is looking for families in Southern Nevada to host high school students (ages 15-17) from other countries for the upcoming school year. Students must be provided with their own bed and a place to study, plus two meals each day. They have spending money and insurance.
Desert Spring United Methodist Church, in Summerlin, is looking for new voices from the community to join its choir, which performs traditional hymns and anthems and works by classical music composers at Sunday church services.
