Leisure Connection (for adults 22+) is a social group for high-functioning adults with developmental disabilities. It provides recreational activities that promote socialization and independence in the community. Activities include bowling, movies, sports events, lunch/dinner outings, and leisure education classes. Hosted by the City of Las Vegas.

The Animal Foundation in Las Vegas is in desperate need of sheets, blankets, towels and such to use for bedding for their cats and dogs. The Nevada State Museum in Las Vegas presenta a new exhibition celebrating the extraordinary artistry of costume designer Pete Menefee through December 31. A multiple Emmy-Award-winning costume designer, he is famous for his work with musical superstars, variety productions, and Nevada’s costume-spectacular stage shows. Nevada's Aging and Disability Services Division is looking for volunteers to serve as Long Term Care Ombudsman in skilled nursing facilities.
Volunteers act as advocates and a voice for residents in skilled nursing facilities, either those who cannot speak for themselves or who request assistance and advocacy. Volunteers promote resident's rights, empower residents and help resolve complaints.
