The 14th annual Las Vegas Celtic Gathering and Highland Games will be held April 14 and 15 at Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. The festival celebrates Celtic heritage with entertainment, children’s activities, food, drink, dance and heavy athletics (such as the caber toss).
The 4th annual Celebrando Festival April 28 will celebrate Hispanic culture and giving back. There will be food, music, dance, art and musch more. They are partnering with Nevada PEP and some of the money raised will go to them.
The Springs Preserve celebrates children and childhood at their annual Día del Niño on April 28. There will be clowns and magicians, dancing and singing, interactive games, traditional Mexican food and drink, and hands-on arts and crafts workshops. Tickets are $6.
