Lee Canyon hosts the fourth annual Ruby Cup benefitting Nevada Donor Network on January 12. The nonprofit coordinates, recovers, and allocates lifesaving organs and tissues for Nevada transplant patients. The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to skiers and snowboarders of all ages and ability levels.
Registration is $20 onsite, and all proceeds go to Nevada Donor Network. Lee Canyon will cover registration fees for registered organ donors, and people can register to become a donor at the event. Can't attend? You can donate online.
Ruby Cup is a timed slalom fun race where the racer with the fastest slope run takes home a 2019-20 Lee Canyon All Access season pass; the second-place prize is a 2019-20 Battle Born season pass. The event also features live music and a vendor fair.
