Dinner (or lunch) and a show? Yes and yes, say the organizers of the Tamales and Mariachi Festival. And thank goodness, since a day of live music and hearty holiday treats is an ideal way to put some feliz in the collective Navidad. In addition to performances by five mariachi bands (including Grammy Award-winning Mariachi Los Camperos), food, and tamale-making classes, there will also be plenty of drinks for the grown ups and crafts for the littles, making this a fiesta all ages can enjoy.
