World Food Championships

Nov. 7-10. Now in its second year, this four-day cook-off features more than 500 competitors ranging from celebrity chefs to avid home cooks. They’ll put on their aprons and square off in popular food categories such as burgers, barbecue, side dish, chili, dessert and, of course, bacon. Held on Fremont Street and the Fremont East Entertainment District, this year’s competition features the Ultimate Bacon Experience, a tasting that boasts these chefs’ best culinary creations from everyone’s favorite part of the pork.
