Forty-year Southern Nevadan resident Scott Dickensheets previously served as editor-in-chief of both Las Vegas CityLife and the Las Vegas Weekly, as managing editor of Las Vegas Life magazine and assistant city editor, assistant features editor and columnist at the Las Vegas Sun. He's edited four anthologies of fiction and essays about Las Vegas, including Fade, Sag, Crumble; Wish You Were Here and Getting Better All the Time, and served as assistant editor of Nevada's official sesquicentennial book. Scott has won writing awards from the City and Regional Magazine Association and the Nevada Press Association. His work has appeared in Playboy, Esquire, Vegas and other magazines.
