A canned water brand says it's giving away a fighter jet — for real

LEILA FADEL, HOST:

Good morning. I'm Leila Fadel. Back in the 1990s, Pepsi ran a commercial that jokingly offered a fighter jet as a loyalty prize. A college student tried to win that fake contest, even went to court and he lost. Now a canned water brand says it's giving away a fighter jet for real. It's a $400,000 L-39 Aero jet nicknamed The Dehydrator. Apparently, because it's thrust will relieve you of all your bodily fluids, you know, so you need water. Get it? It's MORNING EDITION.
