Dear hipster: Please gamble. Thank you!

Nobody likes a head-nodding shoegazer show at the Cosmpolitan's Book & Stage lounge more than we do -- and yeah, we can agree with some of the happy mumbling that the Cosmo's indie cred-drenched entertainment roster might harken some sort of modernized return to the Old Vegas days.

Only problem: Owner Deutsche Bank needs those hipsters to gamble -- and fast. From NYT's Dealbook:

The Cosmopolitan is missing just one major component: a deep base of gamblers. It is betting on a relatively young demographic, a challenging crowd that usually prefers partying. On a recent Saturday night, the casino was almost empty as visitors flocked up one flight to the Marquee nightclub, where one inebriated partygoer threw up in line.
