The fiscal cliff was all about tax rates and making sure the rich paid their fare share - mostly. But it was also about some payments for big Medicare providers. Sen. Harry Reid, for example, inserted a big cut in payment for a Swedish firm whose equpipment treats brain tumors. And that will help a company with Southern Nevada connections and a big lobbtying operation. We hear how it all happened.

    Money and power always breed corruption, which is why - Surprise! - Washington D.C. is the epicenter of corruption. And it is also why our Founders wisely intended a *tiny* government, without much power or money. Since that concept obviously didn't survive, we're stuck with perpetual corruption in all levels of government.
