The Southern Nevada Water Authority insists that Las Vegas will need to import water from the rural northeastern Nevada or else run the risk of Lake Mead running dry. Yet again, however, a District Court judge has overturned the state engineer's ruling and ordered that the numbers be re-calculated to ensure they conform with the requirements of state law. So what will SNWA do? And what does it mean for the project?
