The Euro Crisis
The Euro Crisis

Listen
AIR DATE: October 1, 2013

The economic crisis in Europe has shown problems with the single European currency. The poor countries have staggeringly high unemployment under austerity and little hope for respite. The wealthiest countries, particularly Germany, have backed austerity, but the European Central Bank is already steering away from the tough line that the Merkel Administration had pursued. Jaime de Pinies will discuss these changes at the World Affairs Council of Las Vegas tonight.

GUESTS

Jaime de Pinies, Financial Consultant, Pinies & Aguilar
