Assemblyman Pat Hickey Causes Stir With Voter Turnout Comments

Listen
AIR DATE: September 30, 2013

Nevada Assemblyman Pat Hickey made an unfortunate observation during a radio interview recently when he pointed out that low voter turnout from youth and minorities in 2014 would be good for Republicans.

Not only have Democrats throughout the country pounced on Hickey’s remarks, but Republican leadership in Nevada, including Governor Brian Sandoval and Senator Dean Heller has aggressively denounced Hickey’s claim.
