Horse Tripping Debate Comes To Clark County
Horse Tripping Debate Comes To Clark County

Listen
AIR DATE: August 8, 2013

Promoters of Mexican rodeos insist that it isn't horse-tripping. Cowboys instead rope and release horses by their front legs. But opponents say the events still cause horse injuries and should be kept out of Clark County. On Tuesday, the Clark County Commission agreed, and upheld a law banning front-leg roping. We'll talk to a supporter of these events, and a county commissioner who voted to keep them out of Clark County.

GUESTS

Chris Giunchigliani, Clark County Commissioner

Toby De La Torre, Public Relations and Animal Welfare Director, World's Best Charro Events
