And in our second hour, we talk with Philip Rodriguez, the director/producer of Latino's 08 which focuses on the growing political power of Latinos in the US. It's set to air 10pm Wed on KLVX Channel 10.

And in our second hour, we look at public safety issues tied to the North Las Vegas Airport, which in August saw two fatal plane crashes in the surrounding neighborhood.

Early voting has begun, but not everyone believes it's good to cast a ballot more than two weeks before Election Day. Jon Ralston and Steve Sebelius will debate the issue. We'll also talk with Democratic congressional candidate Dina Titus. Incumbent Republican Rep Jon Porter has declined to join the conversation.

And in our second hour, Poet Laureate Charles Simic joins us.

We talk with Republican Congressional candidate Kenneth Wegner, who is running against Democratic incumbent Shelley Berkley. And we also talk with Democratic congressional candidate Jill Derby, who is running against Republican incumbent Dean Heller.

Berkley and Heller have declined to join the conversations despite repeated attempts on our part since September to find a date that worked for both candidates.

Then, we talk with photographer Tom Schiff, whose panoramic photos of the LV Strip are about to go on public display at The LV Art Museum. And, we hear the sounds of world-renowned organist Felix Hell, who is set to perform Thursday and Friday at UNLV's Doc Rando Hall.

We also talk with best-selling author John Grogan. His book, "Marley and Me: Life and Love With The World's Worst Dog," has been made into a movie that opens in December with Owen Wilson starring as Grogan, and Jennifer Austin playing his wife, Jenny. His newest book, "The Longest Trip Home," came out earlier this week.
