»7/2/07 Race and Education and No Wheels, No Problem
Clark County School District no longer uses busing or zoning changes to alter the racial makeup of the region's schools. But there's a decidedly racial component to many of those schools, depending upon where they're found. We take a look, in light of the new US Supreme Court ruling that limits the use of race in determining who attends what public schools. Then we'll look at a Las Vegas non-profit group that's training teenagers to become future community leaders.
