Can I Contribute my Thoughts?

Of course. Send comments, questions, and ideas to son@knpr.org. Be sure to include your first name and the city you're writing from.

You can also leave comments on our website under each show segment. We may edit comments for clarity. We do moderate comments and inappropriate content will be removed. We welcome comments that are on-topic, brief and civil. For more guidance, please refer to our Community Discussion Rules. Nevada Public Radio has adopted NPR's guidelines for online discussion.

When Can I Hear the Program?

Listen live at 9 a.m. with a repeat broadcast at 8 p.m. We're on the radio in Las Vegas on News 88.9 KNPR, on other frequencies in the region, or streaming online at knpr.org.

For previous discussions, you can browse our archives to listen or download content. To automatically receive selected audio segments visit our podcasts page.

What is the Music?

Listeners often wonder about the origin of our theme. We use excerpts from Jeff Beal's musical score for "Pollock", a biopic about the abstract painter, Jackson Pollock, released in 2000.
