A new program launching Thursday is encouraging southern Nevadans to explore the natural world around them.
“ Find Your Parks” is a project between the city of Las Vegas, the National Parks Service and other groups to let people in the area know about the national parks near them.
Turns out, there's a lot more than just Lake Mead and Red Rock available in just a few hours' drive.
