The Las Vegas City Council today rejected efforts to put an advisory question regarding a proposed $200 million downtown soccer stadium on the June ballot.
The proposal by Councilman Bob Beers was voted down 4-3 The vote came just weeks after Mayor Carolyn Goodman joined three City Council members to OK millions of dollars in public subsidies to help build the controversial stadium.
It would be built in Symphony Park, if the developers get a Major League Soccer franchise.
