Trowbridge Named To Assembly Seat By Clark County Commission

Clark County commissioners have selected the county's former parks and recreation director to fill a vacant Nevada Assembly seat.

Commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday to appoint Glenn Trowbridge to represent Assembly District 37. He was chosen from a pool of 12 applicants.

The vacancy came after Republican Wesley Duncan announced he would resign his seat to become second in command to Attorney General-elect Adam Laxalt. Duncan served one term in the Assembly before being re-elected in November.
