Las Vegas Home Prices Up In October

Home prices in the Las Vegas metropolitan area rose 6.6 percent in October compared to the same month last year, real estate analytics company CoreLogic reported Tuesday.

But, Las Vegas home prices are still 36 percent below their pre-recession peak, the steepest decline in the nation. 

Home prices nationally rose 6.1 percent in October compared to a year earlier, the 32nd consecutive month of increases.
