Fast Food Workers In LV Protest Low Pay

Fast food workers protesting for higher wages briefly shut down a McDonald's drive-thru in Las Vegas this morning.

About 70 people held signs and chanted, "Low pay is not OK" and "We will win" at the restaurant near Eastern Avenue and Flamingo Road.

The nonprofit group ProgressNow Nevada said in a statement that fast-food workers in more than 100 cities walked off the job in a protest seeking wages of at least $15 an hour and the ability to unionize.
