Rangers Probing Death Of Man Found In Lake Mohave

National Park Service rangers and medical examiners in Las Vegas are investigating the death of a man whose body was found floating in Lake Mohave. Lake Mead National Recreation Area spokeswoman Christie Vanover says the body was found Wednesday afternoon by a marina employee near the north swim beach at Cottonwood Cove, not far from the Nevada town of Searchlight. The name of the dead man wasn't immediately made public by the Clark County coroner.

Lake Mohave is the Colorado River reservoir formed by Davis Dam near Laughlin, Nevada, and Bullhead City, Arizona. Searchlight is about 60 miles southeast of Las Vegas.
