False Alarm On McCarran Ebola Scare

Officials who quarantined a plane that landed at a Las Vegas airport say a sick passenger on board doesn't meet the criteria for Ebola.

Christine Crews of the Clark County Department of Aviation says health officials responded to McCarran International Airport Friday morning after reports that a passenger who had recently traveled to Africa vomited on board.

Crews says Delta Flight 495 from John F. Kennedy Airport was quarantined at the gate at about 11 a.m., and officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Southern Nevada Health District responded.
