Transporters will be busy in Las Vegas this month, as the Official “Star Trek” Convention returning July 31 to the Rio. The multi-day gathering will be highlighted by four visiting captains: William Shatner, Scott Bakula, Avery Brooks and Kate Mulgrew. The annual event will also include panels presented by NASA and a salute to the music of ‘Star Trek,’ performed by members of the Nevada Pops.
