Steve Wynn Judgment Upheld

The founder of "Girls Gone Wild" lost his appeal against a $19 million judgment that he made defamatory remarks about casino mogul Steve Wynn. A Los Angeles appellate court upheld the original judgment of the slander case against Joe Francis. In a 2012 case a jury decided Francis' statements that Wynn threatened to kill him were defamation. Francis argues he made those comments during court proceedings over gambling debt and he shouldn't be held liable for them.
